Boise Idaho Fun Free Things to Do
Boise GreenbeltTake a bike ride on this 22 mile paved path that runs along the Boise River. It is mostly tree lined and shaded and passes through several parks. Enjoy an afternoon of taking in views of the river, wildlife, and different landscapes as you also get in a hard workout. You can access the Greenbelt from many different locations. I recommend starting at Julia Davis Park, which is close to the downtown area. There is free parking there on the side streets.

From this park, you will be able to access the Greenbelt walking/biking path. Also available are paddleboat rentals, tennis courts, and various other monthly events.
